About Nick Vigil Baseball
My Mission
I focus on comprehensive skill development for players of all ages. From fielding and hitting techniques to pitching and catching strategies. I coach everything from position-specific footwork to proper form and technique in the field or at the plate.
With over 20+ years of experience and having coached over 1,000 games in all age groups and skill levels, I bring expertise to all stages of player development.
As a former High School Coach at Hillcrest High, I have helped with the growth and progression of hundreds of players from ages 8-18.

FUNDAMENTALS
- Fielding - Focus on "ready position", moving toward the ball and catching the ball. Age-appropriate training
- Hitting Techniques - Mechanics of swinging the bat, as well as the mental preparation and strategy that goes into hitting
- Pitching Strategies - Grip, follow-through, delivery, age-appropriate development, goal-oriented
- Catching Strategies - Stance, hand position, retain possession focus, age-appropriate training
Each child is different in their needs/wants and my training will focus on the overall goal of helping your child achieve the highest level of their potential and excel in the sport they love.

- Coached in approximately 50 All-Star Games for 6 different all-star teams
- 3rd place finishes in Cal Ripken Utah State Tournament in 2014 and 2016
- Runners Up in the Cal Ripken Utah State Tournament in 2012 and 2013
- Cal Ripken Northern Utah State Champions in 2017, 2018 and 2019
- Cal Ripken Utah State Champions (outright) in 2018 and 2019
- Coached in Cal Ripken Pacific Southwest Regional in Long Beach, CA in 2017 and 2018
